A former restaurant spot in Petaluma is being turned into a clinic. The North Bay Business Journal reports that the former Pepper’s restaurant on South McDowell Boulevard will be turned into a “Marin Health Petaluma Multi-Specialty Clinical Hub.” It will have 29 exam rooms serving a range of medical needs, a full-service cardiovascular testing center, and X-ray and ultrasound imaging facilities. Total staff are anticipated to be up to 45 at the maximum shift, with a smaller team of 10 to 12 on site after 6 p.m. The building at 335 South McDowell Boulevard has been vacant since 2013 when Pepper’s lost their lease.
