Still Problems Reported with Some Ballots in Mendocino County

With less than two weeks before the March 5th primary, more ballot errors are being reported in Mendocino County. The latest error is that some voters have received information for the wrong supervisor districts. The county says the “initial belief is that the 2021 redistricting may not have been correctly imputed into the voter files.” Mendocino County is seeking guidance from the California Secretary of State’s Office on how to address the situation along with the Renne Public Law Group. This all comes about two weeks after the county acknowledged their first round of ballots contained several mistakes, including every voter receiving a Republican ballot in the First District supervisor race regardless where they lived or their party affiliations. A third party vendor, Integrated Voting Systems, was blamed for that error.
