A threat that led to a 90-minute lockdown of Windsor Middle School is unfounded. Police say, on Thursday, someone called in a false threat to both the school and Windsor’s police station. Students and staff were ordered to shelter in place in their classrooms while officers searched the campus. Authorities say the threat, which mentioned a bombing plot, was a “swatting” incident. That’s when someone makes up a serious situation to draw a large police response.
