A Santa Rosa Junior College instructor has pleaded no contest to possessing a gun on a college campus. Seventy-four-year-old Michael Beyries was found with a gun on campus and arrested last November. California law bans the possession or use of guns on any school or college campus. Beyries initially pleaded not guilty in December, before changing his plea on Tuesday. He will be sentenced next month.
