Homeless Man Arrested in Petaluma for Dumping Waste from RV Onto Street

A Petaluma homeless man has been arrested after dumping waste into a street. Last Friday morning, police got a call from residents near the 100 block of Vallejo Street who said an RV was leaking human sewage onto the ground and the surrounding area. Officers arrived to find that sewage was seen leaking down the block, towards nearby storm drains. First responders quickly responded and contained the HAZMAT. The owner of the RV, Tony Sampson, was inside and refused to come out, despite being on probation. Officers went in and arrested Sampson after a brief standoff. Petaluma Animal Control took in two dogs which were inside the RV.
