A Mendocino County man who was convicted of shooting at his neighbors in Anchor Bay has died of natural causes. Harry William Miller passed away on April 6th at the age of 75 while serving time in state prison. In March of 2018, Miller got into an argument with his neighbor, Paul Palestrini. Miller shot Palestrini in the torso. Palestrini hit Miller in the head and neck with a shovel. He was then taken to the hospital. Miller was arrested a few days later and then pleaded guilty to assault and attempted voluntary manslaughter in June of 2019. He was sentenced to nearly 12 years in prison.
