A man from Santa Rosa has been convicted of several charges after shooting another man in the neck and leaving him on a sidewalk in May of 2022. Jose Figueroa Baltazar faces life in prison after being found guilty of attempted murder, shooting at an occupied vehicle and three other gun-related crimes. Prosecutors say he walked out of the SUV he was driving and shot his rear passenger. Just before that, he had threatened to shoot the 27-year-old if he didn’t get out of his SUV. Figueroa Baltazar will be sentenced on July 29th.
