40 MPH Wind Gusts Leave Some Damage Across the North Bay

People in some parts of the North Bay are cleaning up damage a day after being hit with powerful wind gusts. Several cities recorded wind gusts stronger than 40-miles-per-hour on Thursday. Gusts topped out at about 60-miles-per-hour in the hills around Healdsburg and on Mount Saint Helena. Gusts reached about 70-miles-per-hour in the Mayacamas Mountains. There were several reports of fallen trees throughout the region on Thursday morning. One of them was a nearly 40-foot-tall tree that came crashing down in southeast Santa Rosa. Nobody was injured.
