A man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a home near Santa Rosa and helping himself to a pair of the homeowner’s pants. When Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies caught up with him, he was naked on a neighbor’s roof. Investigators say, on Wednesday afternoon, 45-year-old Ronald Rutherford broke into the home and took off his own clothes. He was found in a closet wearing a pair of the homeowner’s pants. The man ran away, removed the pants while police were chasing him, then was arrested after coming down from the roof while nude.
