Healdsburg’s 12 city-operated EV public chargers could cost three times more an hour for drivers during certain parts of the day. Fees are currently 55 cents per hour during the day on weekdays, and free at all other times. Users are paying just $7,000 of the city’s $43,000 EV charging station bill last year, according to city officials. Should the council approve the new fee at a meeting on August 19th, new rates would go into effect roughly 30 days afterwards.
