Record High Property Taxes Expected for the North Bay

Property owners in the North Bay could be paying record-high property taxes in the coming months. Sonoma, Napa, Marin and Solano Counties all saw record-level assessments this year. Sonoma County has a record-breaking 120-point-four-billion-dollars in assessed property values for the 2024-2025 year. That’s more than five percent higher than last year’s record of 114-billion-dollars in assessed property values.
