California is taking more action as dozens of wildfires ravage the state. Governor Newsom says he’s secured a grant from FEMA to support the response to the Borel Fire in Kern County. This one has scorched 38-thousand acres in the Sequoia National Forest since last Wednesday. He’s also getting funding and resources for three other fires and declared a state of emergency for one in Plumas County that’s 75-percent contained.
