A Holocaust memorial in Santa Rosa Memorial Park was rededicated on Sunday. Dennis Judd remembered his mother, Lillian Judd, a Holocaust survivor as well as an activist and educator in her later years. Lillian Judd died in 2016 at 92 years old. It was for Lillian, and his father, Emil, that Dennis created the memorial at Santa Rosa Memorial Park for his mother and father in 2017. The memorial site has been vandalized twice in 2020 and 2022. Sunday’s rededication unveiled a new round of repairs to the site as well as a plaque celebrating a commitment to peace and community.
