A San Leandro man is facing charges after a botched ATM theft attempt in Windsor led to a high-speed chase. Police say 55-year-old William Fletcher and an accomplice tried to steal an ATM early Friday morning using a chain and a car. When officers tried to stop them, a chase ensued, reaching speeds of 120 miles per hour before the suspect’s vehicle crashed. Fletcher was arrested, but his accomplice is still on the run.
