A Petaluma man was killed in a head-on collision in west Marin County on Tuesday morning. The crash occurred on Nicasio Valley Road, and involved a Honda Civic and a Ford Expedition. The driver of the Civic, 19-year-old Carlos Verdugo-Cruz, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Expedition was injured and taken to a hospital.
