A Glen Ellen woman was sentenced on Monday to six years in prison for driving under the influence of meth and fentanyl and causing a fatal car accident. Serina Rogers pleaded no contest to charges related to the death of Maria Jimenez Rosas in May. Several of Jimenez Rosas’ loved ones spoke at the sentencing hearing, expressing their grief and anger towards Rogers. Rogers’ attorney emphasized his client’s remorse and that she took responsibility for the accident. The judge sentenced Rogers to prison and imposed additional jail time for other charges.
