A red flag warning is now in effect for the North Bay. It will last through at least five o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Fire officials and meteorologists say this could be the strongest wind event in the region since 2021. Gusts are expected to reach 30-miles-per-hour in Santa Rosa and other inland areas. Humidity is expected to fall to between nine and 15 percent. The North Bay interior mountains are also under a wind advisory through eight o’clock tomorrow morning. Gusts along ridges and between gaps and passes could be as strong as 65-miles-per-hour.
