A loaded handgun was found during a probation search in Santa Rosa. Yesterday evening, officers searched the residence and vehicle of 25-year-old Rigoberto Ochoa Ayala on the 3000 block of Santa Rosa Avenue. Officers found a loaded, concealed .40 caliber Poly-80 handgun, .40 caliber ammunition, several magazines including a high-capacity magazine, and suspected drugs. Ayala was charged with possession of a loaded, concealed firearm in a vehicle, carrying a loaded handgun, violation of probation, and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
