A Sonoma-based nonprofit is helping rescue displaced dogs from overflowing shelters in the fire-ravaged Los Angeles area.
The Sonoma Index-Tribune reports Flying Tails Animal Rescue flew to Los Angeles on Friday and picked up 20 dogs to bring back to Bay Area shelters. The local shelters taking in the dogs include Sonoma’s Pets Lifeline and Petaluma’s North Bay Animal Services.
