A 23-year-old Santa Rosa man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night on Hoen Avenue.
Police say Devin Michael McKenzie and a 20-year-old friend got into an argument at McKenzie’s apartment. The argument escalated, resulting in McKenzie being stabbed and the victim being fatally shot.
McKenzie was hospitalized for his stab wound and later booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of murder.
This marks the second homicide in Santa Rosa this year.
