One person is dead following a mobile home fire in Santa Rosa’s Bellevue neighborhood Saturday afternoon. The fire broke out just after 3:30 p.m. on Taylor Avenue, between Millbrae and Scenic avenues.
Sonoma County Fire District crews arrived to find a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames, according to Battalion Chief Mike Stornetta. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, a body was discovered inside. No information about the victim has been released at this time.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by both the Sonoma County Fire District and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
