Santa Rosa Police served a search warrant on Scott Street Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of two men on weapons charges.
During the search, officers recovered a loaded, stolen Glock 9mm handgun with a high-capacity magazine, as well as an unregistered Glock 9mm. 21-year-old Oscar Ruiz-Flores was arrested on charges including resisting arrest, possession of an unregistered firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm. 19-year-old Rafael Ruiz-Flores was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm.
The Santa Rosa Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team is focused on addressing the increase in illegal firearms and gun violence in the city.
