Former Santa Rosa Mayor Natalie Rogers To Run For State Senate

Santa Rosa City Councilmember and former mayor Natalie Rogers is running for state Senate.

Earlier this week, she officially announced her bid for the Senate seat being vacated by Mike McGuire at the end of 2026. The 43-year-old Democrat is serving her second term as a councilmember after being reelected in November. Rogers says she is running to advocate for working families who are facing the rising costs of housing, healthcare and other necessities.

The Senate seat represents District Two, which stretches from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon border.
