Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa has expanded its reach and rebranded as Catholic Charities of Northwest California.
The name change reflects the organization’s doubling of its service area to include Humboldt, Del Norte, and Mendocino counties, in addition to Sonoma, Napa, and Lake. Catholic Charities provides vital services like homeless assistance, immigration support, senior services, and health programs. Last fiscal year, they served nearly 8,000 individuals, provided over 305,000 meals, and secured housing for 576 people.
The organization has also added staff to support its expanded regional efforts and reaffirms its commitment to serving the most vulnerable, regardless of background or circumstance.
