A 38-year-old man accused of shooting his 80-year-old father to death at their home north of Rohnert Park will stand trial for murder.
Cody Molica is accused of killing Richard Molica on January 27th. The victim was shot twice in the head the night before his son reported his death to police. That is according to testimony given on Thursday, during a preliminary hearing.
At the end of the hearing, a judge ordered there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial. Molica is due back in court for his arraignment on March 6th.
