The trial of a man accused of murdering a 13-year-old girl in Cloverdale in 1982 will start on October 10th.
On Thursday, 63-year-old James Unick was in Sonoma County Superior Court, where he pleaded not guilty to all of the charges he is facing. A judge then set the date for a jury trial. Unick was arrested this past July, while living in Willows, a city in Glenn County.
The case is considered the first homicide in Cloverdale’s history.
