15-Year-Old Stabbed At Elsie Allen High School

A stabbing at Elsie Allen High School in Santa Rosa has left a 15-year-old student hospitalized. Santa Rosa Police responded to the campus Tuesday afternoon after reports of a student being stabbed in a classroom. The school was immediately placed on lockdown.

Officers found the victim with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and is now in stable condition. A 15-year-old suspect was apprehended at the scene and is now in custody, facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon on school grounds.

Police say the stabbing occurred during a fight between the two students, witnessed by multiple classmates. A folding knife was recovered at the scene. Authorities do not believe the incident was gang-related.

Students were released from the school in a controlled manner, and police are continuing their investigation. School officials and police emphasize the importance of keeping weapons off school grounds and praised school staff for their quick response to the incident.
