A Santa Rosa man was arrested in Petaluma over the weekend after a hit-and-run incident.
Police responded to a collision on West Payran Street Saturday morning, where one driver was injured and the other had fled. Witnesses pointed officers to a nearby man matching the suspect’s description. 31-year-old Sonny Ocop was identified as the driver, and his vehicle was found parked at a nearby residence.
Ocop was arrested for DUI causing injury, hit-and-run, and threatening an officer.
