Marin County health officials believe the county is on track for the yellow tier on the coronavirus tier list. The county’s public health officer told supervisors yesterday that Marin is likely to move out of the orange tier by next Tuesday. The county needs to keep its coronavirus numbers in check for two consecutive weeks. Right now, the county’s case rate is at 1.7 cases per 100,000 residents, which clears the required threshold to move into the yellow tier.
