The Sonoma County jail is lifting a lockdown imposed on one of the facility’s housing units after Covid testing rates improved. Officials say one housing unit was doing well Tuesday after each inmate tested negative twice in the span of 10 days. The jail says as of Tuesday there are nearly 200 inmates under quarantine, with hopes their tests will turn out negative as well.
