Bank Robber inside Chase Bamk on Yulupa Avenue 7-20-22 (Santa Rosa Police)
Santa Rosa police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a bank robber. On Wednesday evening, a suspect entered the Chase Bank on the 2700 block of Yulupa Avenue and used a threatening note to demand money from the teller. The suspect left the bank after receiving a small amount of money, fleeing on a bicycle westbound, across Yulupa Avenue, and into the Ace Hardware/Safeway Shopping Center parking lot. The suspect rode behind the store and across the pedestrian bridge that leads to Cactus Avenue. He’s described as a white male, 5’4” to 5’5”, with a medium build and was wearing a dark baseball-style hat, black sunglasses, a navy-blue long sleeve shirt, grey sweatpants, and a black gaiter-style face covering. Anyone with information, especially those with possible surveillance footage in the Mesquite Park area, are encouraged to contact police.
