The Sonoma Valley Unified School District is planning to reorganize and they are considering four options. The firm Perkins Eastman presented the scenarios last week to the school board as the district faces declining enrollment and increasing costs. The varying plans could change grades for several elementary schools, provide workforce housing, allow for more walkable distances to school, and provide adult and alternative education. All the plans would remove Dunbar Elementary as a traditional school site. Sonoma Valley and Creekside high schools would largely be unaffected.
