Handgun confiscated from Santa Rosa Teens on 3-25-23 (Santa Rosa Police)
Two teens have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded gun in Santa Rosa. A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested late Saturday night, though police did not announce it until Thursday. Officers found a bag with a gun inside at the 17-year-old’s home. It was a semi-automatic handgun with a high-capacity drum magazine. The gun allegedly belonged to the 16-year-old boy. Police say the suspects both have gang ties, and the older boy was in violation of his probation.
