Twenty visiting filmmakers will be at Film Fest Petaluma this weekend. The festival will show 32 short films this Saturday at the Mystic Theatre over four distinct programs. Among the filmmakers that will attend are Jean Schulz (wife of the late cartoonist Charles Schulz), and Petaluma animator Jamy Wheless who worked on the short film “Andy: A Dog’s Tale.” Also in attendance will be Zahida Pirani (winner of the Audience Award at the 2022 Palm Springs International Shortfest) and a number of winners from the recent Sonoma County Student Film Festival.
