House fire on Wren Drive (Petaluma Fire Department)
A home in Petaluma has been red tagged after a fire. On Tuesday night, Petaluma firefighters began receiving calls about a house fire on Wren Drive. As that was happening, a police officer was in the area on an unrelated call, saw the fire, and began evacuating those inside. All four residents, and their dog, escaped unharmed. Firefighters soon arrived and had the fire out within 15 minutes. Most of the damage was contained to the garage. Despite that, the property was red tagged. Firefighters are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
