About half a million college students across the state are waiting to find out if they’ll have to pay more. A new report shows the California State University system doesn’t make or receive enough money to cover its costs. The answer could be tuition hikes. The CSU Chancellor’s office will present that plan in July, proposing an eight-thousand dollar increase for new undergraduates over a five-year period. If approved, it would begin next year.
