Here’s a tragic reminder to be extra careful during the commute.  Sixty-eight people died in car crashes across California over the long holiday weekend and only about half were buckled up.  The CHP commissioner says this reinforces the need for responsible behavior behind the wheel.  Officers made more than 12-hundred DUI arrests between Friday and Tuesday.  They also issued nearly ten-thousand speeding tickets.
