LeapFrog Group has released its fall grades for 2023 Hospital Safety across the North Bay. Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, San Rafael, and Vallejo all received “A” grades along with Marin Health Medical Center, Novato Community Hospital, and Sutter Santa Rosa. Sonoma Valley Hospital received a “B” grade while Providence Santa Rosa Memorial got a “C” grade and Petaluma Valley received a “D” Grade. LeapFrog made the rankings based on over 30 measures that include the number of preventable errors, injuries, accidents and infections. They also included grading basics of medical care, such as hand-washing, prescription entries, and fall prevention.
