Meth confiscated from Angelina Gutierrez 2-13-24 (Sonoma County Sheriff)
A Sonoma County Sheriff’s K-9 deputy found 10 pounds of meth during a traffic stop. On Tuesday morning, a deputy pulled over a car near Lakeville Highway and Baywood Drive in Petaluma. The driver had a misdemeanor arrest warrant out of Mendocino County and told the deputy that there was a meth pipe in the vehicle. The deputy’s K9 partner conducted a sniff of the vehicle for narcotics and discovered that there were dog treat boxes inside of the vehicle. The deputy then searched the vehicle and found that the dog treat boxes contained packages of meth. The deputy also located additional packages of meth inside of a cat litter box. Forty-one year-old Angelina Gutierrez was arrested for felony transportation of a controlled substance and her misdemeanor arrest warrant.
