Petaluma Police have lost one of their own. Evidence technician Brie Jorgenson passed away Monday night succumbing to stage four breast cancer. She was diagnosed last year shortly after being promoted to evidence technician. Before that, Jorgenson worked with the department as a dispatcher since 2020 and was a dispatcher with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office before that. She leaves behind a 4 year old son named Carter as well as her husband, Chris. PORAC still has a donation page up on its website for Brie to help support her family. Click here for the link.
