New Solar Panels at Sonoma County Airport (County of Sonoma and Forefront Power)

Plans to fix parts of the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport have been approved. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors have approved plans to refurbish a section of runway pavement and replace a deteriorating culvert at the airport. The repairs will take place in early June, will take about 20 hours, and cost about $667-thousand dollars. As the lowest bidder, Granite Construction will do the work. The airport is coordinating with the FAA to mitigate any possible impacts of the work and will communicate with travelers in advance.
