Vandals have robbed and destroyed a youth baseball snack bar in Rohnert Park. Around 11 PM Monday night, smoke was reported coming from the snack bar at Benicia Park, located on Bernice Avenue. Firefighters managed to contain the fire which caused $75-thousand dollars in damages. Staff from the Cal Ripken Baseball League say several locks had been cut off, the snack bar had been vandalized, and there was hundreds of dollars worth of stolen merchandise including candy, soda, chips, keys, and other food items, not to mention the extensive damage to the electronics. No arrests have been made.
