Miguel Rosas Camacho (Mendocino County Sheriff)

Mendocino County deputies are looking for an armed and dangerous shooting suspect. On the night of August 7th, shots were reported near the 26000 block of Redwood Creek Road, west of Willits. Within 30 minutes and in a large, illegal cannabis operation, deputies found a man who had multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to hospital but not before describing the suspect and his vehicle. A CHP officer spotted the vehicle without its headlights on near Main Street and Sherwood Road in Willits and tried to pull it over. Instead, it sped away and ended up in a wooded area west of highway 101 where the suspect, Miguel Rosas Camacho, left his vehicle and fled on foot.

Camacho is considered armed and dangerous and also drives a white mustang. He’s also considered to be heavily involved in the illegal cannabis and drug trafficking in and around Round Valley and other parts of Mendocino County.
