Crash near the intersection of West Street and Eden Lane in Petaluma 8-8-24 (Petaluma Police)
A DUI suspect has been arrested after their vehicle flipped in Petaluma. Last Thursday night, a vehicle flipped on its side near the intersection of West Street and Eden Lane. Firefighters arrived and managed to get the driver and sole occupant, 22-year-old Daniel Islas-Ortiz, out of the vehicle. After being evaluated and medically released at the scene, Ortiz was arrested for DUI after it was found his blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.
