New Solar Panels at Sonoma County Airport (County of Sonoma and Forefront Power)
Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport is on track to fly a record 700-thousand passengers this year. The previous record of more than 641-thousand passengers was set just last year. The total number of passengers flying in and out of the airport has increased each year since the pandemic hit in 2020. Airport Manager Jon Stout says, in June, the facility set a record for its highest passenger volume ever. That record was short-lived, as it was topped again last month.
