Bohemian Grove Wage Theft Lawsuit Settled

A wage theft lawsuit filed by several Bohemian Grove employees has reportedly been settled.

The Press Democrat reports the lawsuit was settled last week. Three men who worked as valets claimed their overtime pay was withheld and said they were pressured to falsify their timecards. Bohemian Grove, in the woods outside Monte Rio, hosts an ultra-exclusive, all-male gathering for the rich and powerful each July.

In their lawsuit, the employees also claimed three then-members of Congress disparaged Islam. A billionaire is also accused of insisting an employee wash his underwear by hand. And, after the workers threatened a lawsuit, a retired Four-Star general allegedly tried to convince them not to pursue it.
