Immigration Advocates Continue Hunger Strike

Immigration advocates in Sonoma County are on Day Seven of a hunger strike to get their message across.

A group of ten people have been engaged in a hunger strike since last Tuesday outside the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors offices, demanding leaders pass a sanctuary ordinance protecting the immigrant community from ICE raids. Protesters say they want the lawmakers to take action and ease the fears of many in the community.

The next Board of Supervisors meeting is tomorrow and the strikers say they plan to show up in full force.
