Authorities in Santa Rosa are investigating a possible home invasion that left a woman dead.
Police were called to a home on Cecilia Drive Tuesday morning on a report of gunfire. They found a woman and a dog dead from gunshot wounds inside, along with a second dog that had been wounded from a gunshot. Police say the back gate of the home was open and officers found a rear sliding glass door had been shattered.
No arrests have been made and police say the victim may have been targeted.
