Wine Country Unites is back for its third year, rallying local vintners to raise funds for gun violence prevention.
The Press Democrat says the effort was started by Kelly and Noah Dorrance after their niece, Evelyn Dieckhaus, was killed in the Nashville Covenant School shooting. And on Saturday, October 25th, nearly 60 Sonoma and Napa wineries will donate $10 from every bottle sold to the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
Since 2023, the grassroots campaign has raised over $170,000.
