Sonoma County is part of a settlement with three pest control companies over violations of state pesticide, hazardous waste and customer privacy laws.
Clark Pest Control, Crane Pest Control and Orkin Services of California agreed to pay a total of three-million-dollars in penalties, and implement stricter environmental compliance measures.
The settlement also requires the companies to conduct employee training, undergo annual dumpster audits, and devote at least two-thousand hours per year to waste management oversight.
